Yes, these services are provided by HelloTech, which uniquely offers American Home Shield® members with in-home and online tech support. HelloTech has a nationwide team of techs who are fully vetted and provide same-day bookings.
Having your smart door lock installed by an expert is key to feeling confident in the safety of your home. A HelloTech tech will assess the installation area, install the smart door lock, connect the lock to an existing WiFi network, complete the first-time set up, download the mobile app to your device of choice and ensure it is synced, and demonstrate the commonly used features. Please note that a functioning, customer-supplied smart door lock and WiFi connection are required at the time of installation.
A smart thermostat can help you save money and energy. It also allows you to control the temperature in your home from anywhere via your mobile device. A HelloTech tech will assess the installation area, install the smart thermostat, connect the device to an existing WiFi network, complete the first-time set up, download the mobile app to your device of choice and set it up for you, and demonstrate the commonly used features. Please note that a functioning, customer-supplied thermostat and WiFi connection are required at the time of installation.
A smart security camera is a great way to monitor the safety and security of your home from anywhere. A HelloTech tech will assess the installation area(s), install the smart home security camera(s), connect the camera(s) to an existing WiFi network, complete the first-time set up, install and set-up the mobile app, and demonstrate the commonly used features. Please note that a functioning, customer-supplied home security camera and WiFi connection are required at the time of installation.
A HelloTech tech will remove the current doorbell, confirm that your smart doorbell is compatible, install the smart/video doorbell, connect it to an existing WiFi network, and complete the first-time set up. Please note that a functioning, customer-supplied smart doorbell and WiFi connection are required at the time of installation.
It's smart to hire a professional to mount your tv to avoid damage to your tv or wall. A HelloTech tech will install a bracket and mount one tv (bracket not included, customer must supply), connect all necessary video and basic audio components, neatly address the wires, configure any necessary peripheral devices, and offer cord concealment (at an additional cost). You can request tv mounting installation for a tv between 33-60" in size or 60” and larger.

I rented a motel room for the night and as I was getting ready to leave, the contractor called and said he could be there that night if I still wanted him to!!! I was soooo happy. Great service for homeowners! If you have a ton of cash ready for any home system that may fail at any moment then you are good. If you are like the other 90% of homeowners who don't, then do yourself a favor and protect your investment with an AHS home warranty. Seriously, a new HVAC in California costs over $4K. I paid $100. A new stove last year was $400, but I paid $75. It's in my budget and I don't think twice. AHS always takes great care of me.

I wasn't sure if a home warranty would be a good investment. My next door neighbor has AHS and had their AC unit repaired without any issues and little out of pocket cost. With that I was sold. I used AHS for the first time and what an easy process. I booked a service appointment online, paid the $100 service fee, and the repairman fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. Our "trusted" AC tune up guys told us our unit was leaking refrigerant and needed a new coil unit. The AHS contractor saw that a bolt was loose and after he tightened it, his meter no longer detected a leak. Thank you for sending out honest repairmen!! I'm already a huge fan.
